My Kind of Songs [1] [Underdog]

HI.

I'm back.

Sorry it took so long for me to post something. I've had a few idea about some topics i'm about to talk in here but i haven't had the chance to write about it further. Basically I'm stuck. That's why i decided to post a poetry that i made in my native language, a few days ago. (Never mind that, i've deleted it.)

Anyway, i'm going to talk about a song today. This will be some sort of series, i'm going to tell you about 1 song in each post like this.

Lets just begin with the song before i started to talk about something else that's unrelated to this topic.

The song i'm going to talk about today is called [Underdog] [by Alicia Keys]

The first time i listened to this song is around midnight. I was listening to the radio in my phone when this song came up.

Basically, from what i understand, this song is about those who go through a difficult time in life. In this song, she gives hope for those people. She gives strength. She wanted them to keep doing what they're doing, because she believe there will be time for them to rise up.

The part of the song that i like the most is this part,

Keep on keeping at what you love

You'll find that someday soon enough

You will rise up, rise up, yeah

To be honest, in that part. I feel her. Like, I get what she's trying to say. I get the energy she's trying to spread through this song. And every time i listen to that song, i keep remembering the first time i listen to it and immediately fall in love all over again with the song.

The rhythm itself is quite catchy. The kind that you won't forget easily. The kind that, if you listen to it accidentally, you would want to look it up.

I have no other things to say about this song. I just want you to hear it yourself so you can see what i'm trying to say here. I'm actually not a really big fans of Alicia Keys, but i love this song. It's a really good song, with a good lyrics, and a good melody.

I'm listening to it as i'm writing this. But seriously, you should try and look it up.

I think you're going to like it no matter who you are or what kind of song you're usually listening.

Also, i hope you can understand what i'm trying to say here. Because, if you haven't known already, I'm really bad at explaining or describing something.

So, I guess that's it.

I'll see you really soon (or not)

BYE.

With hope,

Ivy
