New Project.

Hi!

I know, I know. Been a while since I posted something. 

I have my reason and I can tell you that it's actually unreasonable. God, I don't know what I'm talking about.

To be completely honest. I've had this idea of a new project I'm about to work. I'm planning to write a new story and there's nothing to discuss yet. I haven't even think about the detail. There's just this random scene that kept popping in my head.

So what keeps me busy lately is the fact that I've been studying new language.

Why?

I know I'm not actually the type of person that likes to studying. But this new story I'm about to write, well there is a few scene where I want the conversation part to be written in Dutch.

Yes. The new language I'm trying to study is Dutch. Anyway, funny story.

As you've probably knew by now, English is not my native language. I've learned it by watching movies, and listening to songs. Like tons of them. So I'm trying to use the same method in learning Dutch, which is by listening to some songs that has an easy lyrics.

I found this song that has a catchy melody and it stuck in my head easily. I thought I'm going to use it as a form of studying. I mean, if I like it then it'll be easy to memorize right?

Well, apparently the song I've been listening over and over again, is a mix between Dutch and Spanish. I didn't realized it at first.. So instead of improving my Dutch accent and grammar, I accidentally learning Spanish. Which is easier to pronounce than Dutch by the way.

I mean. I'm trying to learn Dutch but now I'm stuck with this Spanish lyrics inside my head. I don't know whether I want to cry or laugh.

Anyway. I AM making some progress in my Dutch studying.

I know how to say some phrases by now. Like how to say my name, how to say good morning / evening, and how to say thank you and nice to meet you. It's a progress right? Well, I hope it is. Because  It's so hard to learn a new language and I'm already kind of proud to myself for being able to learn the basic.

Wish me luck. 

I hope I'll be able to learn some new phrases in a short time.
